Effect of the nature of the support on the activity of Pt-Sn based catalysts for hydrogen production by dehydrogenation of Ultra Low Sulfur Kerosene Jet A-1

► We synthesized Pt-Sn/Al2O3 catalysts with addition of different dopants. ► Catalysts are for production of hydrogen by partial dehydrogenation of kerosene. ► BaO dopant modifies support acidity, prevents coke deposition, slows down deactivation. ► We obtained a productivity of 2000 NLH2 kgcat−1 h−1 with H2 purity of 97 vol.%.
