Activity of perovskite-type mixed oxides for the low-temperature CO oxidation: Evidence of oxygen species participation from the solid

► All oxygen from LaFeO3 are labile in spite of a limited reducibility of Fe3+. ► Cu2+ substitution increases either oxygen mobility or CO oxidation activity. ► Pdn+ substitution is inefficient to improve low-temperature activity. ► Ionic redox surface CO oxidation mechanism occurs on these materials.
