Ultrathin hydrophobic MFI membranes

- An ultrathin MFI membrane was grown at near neutral pH in presence of fluoride.
- The membrane has a very low amount of defects.
- The membrane displays high performance for separation of n-butanol from water.
- The membrane also could separate CO2 from H2.
