Equivalent circuit models for triple-junction concentrator solar cells

► One- and two-diode models are presented for triple junction CPV cells. ► Models are fitted to experimental data over a broad range of concentrations and temperatures. ► Two-diode model is better, but one-diode model may be adequate for some applications. ► Two physical modeling issues are identified, which can further improve the quality of fit.
