Influence of molecular weight on silole-containing cyclopentadithiophene polymer and its impact on the electrochromic properties

► We synthesized silole-containing polymers with different molecular weights (MWs). ► We have studied the effect of MW on the electrochromic properties. ► The results indicate that the larger MW enhances polymer crystallinity. ► The correlation between crystallinity and electrochromic property has been studied.
