Highly improved visible light photocatalytic activity of BiPO4 through fabricating a novel p-n heterojunction BiOI/BiPO4 nanocomposite

Novel p-n heterojunction BiOI/BiPO4 nanocomposites composed of p-type narrow band-gap BiOI and n-type wide band-gap BiPO4 displayed superior photocatalytic performance for decomposing methyl orange compared to single BiPO4 and BiOI under visible light irradiation (λ > 400 nm).
