Fabrication of LaB6@SiO2/Au composite nanoparticles as a catalyst with near infrared photothermally enhanced activity

LaB6@SiO2/Au composite nanoparticles were fabricated as a catalyst with near-infrared photothermally enhanced activity by the assembling of the citrate-capped Au nanoparticles onto the surface of LaB6 nanoparticles with silica coating and amino-functionalization.
