Bio-assisted synthesis of mesoporous Li3V2(PO4)3 for high performance lithium-ion batteries

- We present a biomimetic way for obtaining mesoporous biocarbon coated Li3V2(PO4)3 (MBC-LVP).
- This method is to apply yeasts as a structural template and a biocarbon source.
- The MBC-LVP has uniform particles and fine biocarbon coating network structure.
- The MBC-LVP exhibits outstanding electrochemical performances.
