Flash points of mixtures containing ethyl esters or ethylic biodiesel and ethanol

► Flash points (FPs) of ethylic esters (FAEEs) and their mixtures with ethanol is given. ► An empirical equation was developed for predicting the FPs of pure FAEEs. ► An new approach is proposed to predict FPs of ethylic biodiesel + ethanol.
