Temperature controlled feed layer formation in biofuel pellet production

► A pilot scale pelletizing system was built with die temperature control within a range of 35-65 °C. ► Die temperature was highly influential for obtaining continuous pellet production. ► Lowering the die temperature gave a fast response in restoring a lost feed layer.
