Performance and emission characteristics of a diesel engine fuelled with biodiesel-ethanol and biodiesel-methanol blends at elevated air temperatures

► Effects of elevated air temperature on performance of emissions of a diesel engine are investigated. ► Biodiesel-ethanol and biodiesel-methanol fuels are used and compared to biodiesel and standard diesel fuel. ► Emissions are reported. ► Elevated air temperature is proved to an effective solution to reduce some emissions.
