Thermochemistry of some methoxypyridines

► Combustion calorimetry was used to determine ΔfHmo(l) of three methoxypyridines. ► Gas-phase ΔfHmo of the studied compounds have been derived. ► The enthalpic increments of substitutions on the pyridine ring is calculated and its internal coherence is discussed.
