Phase equilibria and molecular interaction studies on (naphthols + vanillin) systems

► Phase equilibria of (naphthol + vanillin) systems have been studied for the first time. ► Eutectic type phase diagrams are obtained. ► Eutectic mixtures show nonideal behaviour. ► There is a weak molecular interaction between the components in the eutectic mixtures. ► α-Naphthol-vanillin eutectic is more stable as compared to β-naphthol-vanillin.
