Preparation and characterization water-soluble inclusion complexes of imidacloprid-β-cyclodextrin polymer and their electrochemical behavior

► Water-solution inclusion complex of IDP-β-CDP was prepared by a facile strategy. ► IDP-β-CDP exhibited good electrochemical behavior. ► Diffusion coefficient and diffusion activation energy of IDP-β-CDP were calculated. ► The high solubility of IDP-β-CDP might increase the insecticidal efficacy.
