Preparation and electrochemical behavior of the CA/TiO2/Sb2O5 composite electrode modified with p-benzoquinone

► The new CA/TiO2/Sb2O5/BQ modified electrode was applied in the electrocatalytic oxidation of H2AA. ► The EDS image indicates that the TiO2 e Sb2O5 are homogeneously dispersed over the cellulose acetate fiber. ► The kinetic constant κ for the electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid was 2.04 × 104 L mol−1 s−1. ► The CA/TiO2/Sb2O5/BQ modified electrode shows high selectivity and sensitivity for H2AA.
