Modelling the biosensor utilising parallel substrates conversion

► The biosensor behaviour utilising parallel substrates conversion is analysed. ► Mathematical model of the mentioned biosensor is presented in this paper. ► Calibration curve length is proportional to the concentration of the first substrate. ► Response and sensitivity are influenced by the predomination of the enzyme kinetics. ► Complex behaviour was observed at a large ratio of the catalase and peroxidase.
