Photoelectrochemical chiral sensing on the basis of TiO2-metal complex hybrid film

► An ITO/TiO2/Λ-[Os(phen)3]2+ hybrid electrode was fabricated for chiral detection. ► The electrode yields stronger photocurrent in the detection of binaphthol isomers. ► Using the as-prepared electrode the detection limit of binaphthol isomers is 20 μM. ► The chiral selectivity in the determination of 5-fluorouracil derivatives is 1.5.
