Effect of CdS QDs linked functional groups on interaction between CdS QDs and EcoRI

- OH-capped (CdS-OH QDs) and CH3-capped (CdS-CH3 QDs) CdS QDs were prepared.
- The interaction between EcoRI and these CdS QDs was studied, respectively.
- Functional group affects the interaction strength and mode of EcoRI with CdS QDs.
- Functional group affects the conformation of EcoRI.
- The enzyme activity of EcoRI was preserved in the EcoRI-CdS QDs bioconjugates.
