Some biocompatibility aspects of conducting polymer polypyrrole evaluated with bone marrow-derived stem cells

- Easy fabrication of polypyrrole coatings on gold plated glass slides was demonstrated.
- Cell behavior on PPy substrates was shown to be similar if compared to the control substrates.
- The PPY coatings were shown to be biocompatible toward mouse stem cells.
