Analytical model study of complexation of dendrimer as an ion penetrable sphere with DNA

► We model the complexation of dendrimer as ion penetrable sphere with linear polyelectrolyte (LPE) chain. ► The wrapping degree of the chain around the dendrimer increases by increasing dendrimer's charge, Bjerum length, and salt concentration. ► The wrapping degree of the chain around the dendrimer decreases by increasing the rigidity of the chain.
