Scattering enhancement in colloidal metal-organic composite aggregates

► The investigated hybrid organic-inorganic aggregates possess the same optical properties of purely metal nanocomposites. ► Strong Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering and Rayleigh Scattering occur. ► The scattering enhancement of the formed nanocomposite obeys the same scaling law as that obtained by numerical simulation on DLCCA metal nanoparticle composites.
