Influence of nanoparticles on reducing and enhancing evaporation mass transfer and its efficiency

► We measure the effect of nanoparticle types on base fluid evaporation rate. ► We investigate the evaporation reduction and enhancement efficiency of nanofluids. ► We study the effect of PVP on base fluid (deionized water) evaporation rate. ► In comparison with other nanoparticles, Ni/Fe shows high evaporation efficiency.
