Performance of DOM and IDA with different angular discretization methods in 3-D absorbing-emitting-scattering media

► Accuracy and CPU efficiency of DOM and IDA were investigated. ► Both methods were tested on 3-D problems containing participating media. ► DOM and IDA were used with the same angular discretization schemes. ► Results show that DOM S8 produces higher accuracy and CPU efficiency than IDA T4.
