Dual function of ammonium acetate in acetone-butanol-ethanol fermentation by Clostridium acetobutylicum

Compared to the control, the introduction of ammonium ions could effectively down-regulate the relative expressions of six genes involved in butanol synthesis in the acidogenesis phase.
