Performance evaluation and model analysis of BTEX contaminated air in corn-cob biofilter system

► Volatile organic compounds emission is an important contributions to the atmospheric pollution. ► Biological method have been applied for removal of contaminated air steam containing BTEX. ► Corn-cob was used as a packing material in the biofilter. ► Performance of the biofilter is in terms of the elimination capacity using 3-D mesh techniques. ► Kinetic behaviours and BTEX concentration are analysed by CDR model.
