A novel oriented immobilized lipase on magnetic nanoparticles in reverse micelles system and its application in the enrichment of polyunsaturated fatty acids

► Lipase was successfully oriented-immobilized on magnetic nanoparticles. ► Reverse micelles system was better than aqueous phase used as immobilization medium. ► Improvement of lipase activity was correlated to the alteration of its secondary structure. ► The immobilized lipase showed enhanced activity and good reusability in fish oil hydrolysis.
