Biogas production by anaerobic co-digestion of cattle slurry and cheese whey

► We performed several anaerobic co-digestion trial. ► Were used several feeding ratio of cattle slurry with cheese whey. ► Stable biogas production conditions were reached at 50% of both biomass in the mix. ► No chemicals were used to pH control. ► After the feed test a digestate yield test was performed. ► The energy production from AD of agro wastes can be comparable with energy crops.
