Enhanced removal of carbon dioxide and alleviation of dissolved oxygen accumulation in photobioreactor with bubble tank

► A novel bubble tank was used to enhance the carbon dioxide removal efficiency. ► The highest carbon dioxide removal efficiency reached 94%. ► DO in the photobioreactor was reduced from 190% to 70%.
