Promising catalytic performance and shape-selectivity of nitrogen-doped siliceous MFI zeolite for base-catalyzed reactions

Siliceous MFI-type zeolites, silicalite-1, containing nitrogen at the framework oxygen position are prepared via nitrogen-doped mesoporous silica by use of solid-phase transformation, resulting in an active catalyst for base-catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation with a unique shape-selectivity.
