Synthesis, X-ray crystal structure studies and molecular docking analysis of 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole

158Crystals of 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole were synthesized and its structure was studied by single crystal X- ray diffraction technique. The asymmetric unit of the title compound contains two crystallographic independent molecules. The title compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna21 with unit cell parameters a = 9.5018(6) Å, b = 21.636(2) Å, c = 19.040(1) Å and number of molecules per unit cell (Z) = 8.
