Progress of Metal Nanoclusters-based Electrochemiluminescent Analysis

This review summarizes the recent advances in the research of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) mechanism of metal nanoclusters, and their analysis based on nano-interface enhancement and biosignal amplification. It is concluded that the synthesis of high-quality nanoclusters, the analysis of structure-ECL efficiency relationship, design and applications of near infrared ECL and the rational positioning of ECL in the forefront field is the main problem faced.
