An Insulin Molecularly Imprinted Electrochemical Sensor Based on Epitope Imprinting

A new molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensor for insulin detection was prepared by imprinting of C-terminal polypeptide. The imprinted cavities could specifically recognize insulin molecule via the polypeptide and the assay of insulin was performed by measurement the current of the probe ferri/ferrocyanide, thus, high sensitivity was achieved.
