Investigation on Properties of Collagen Nanowires Quasiepitaxially Grown on Mica Lattice Plane

The “reverse-phase biomineralization” technique was used to prepare collagen nanowire arrays on mica (001) lattice plane by taking advantage of quasiepitaxial self-assembly of collagen monomer on the inorganic crystal surface with periodic charge distributions.
