Multi-mycotoxin analysis in wheat semolina using an acetonitrile-based extraction procedure and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

► A new multi-mycotoxin method based on GC-MS/MS has been developed. ► Careful optimization of the GC-MS/MS parameters for the mycotoxin was achieved. ► QuEChERS mycotoxin extraction from semolina was developed and validated. ► Results showed a high incidence of mycotoxins but at lower levels than legislated.
