HPLC-MS/MS method for the simultaneous determination of clopidogrel, its carboxylic acid metabolite and derivatized isomers of thiol metabolite in clinical samples

► The method allowed to determine clopidogrel and its metabolites in one analytical run. ► The method fulfilled the validation criteria designed for bioanalytical methods. ► Plasma levels of clopidogrel and its metabolites were determined in patients. ► Pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated after a dose of 75 mg clopidogrel.
