Extraction of ranitidine and nizatidine with using imidazolium ionic liquids prior spectrophotometric and chromatographic detection

- Nizatidine (NZT) and ranitidine (RNT) are used for treatment of diseases of stomach.
- These drugs are not completely removed during wastewater treatment.
- Extraction process of NZT and RNT was performed with using imidazolium ionic liquids.
- The elaborated method (HPLC-UV) enables detection of NZT and RNT in water samples.
