First characterisation of flavonoid- and diarylheptanoid-type antioxidant phenolics in Corylus maxima by HPLC-DAD-ESI-MS

- In vitro antioxidant activity and phenolic composition of C. maxima is reported for the first time.
- 22 phenolics are tentatively characterised in C. maxima extracts by LC-ESI-TOF and LC-ESI-MS/MS methods.
- Amount of myricitrin, quercitrin, oregonin and hirsutenone is determined by LC-MS/MS in MRM mode.
