Metabolic differentiations of Pueraria lobata and Pueraria thomsonii using 1H NMR spectroscopy and multivariate statistical analysis

- NMR spectroscopy based metabolomic study of Puerariea Radix was carried out.
- P. lobata and P. thomsonii were discriminated markedly by either PCA or PLS-DA.
- Isoflavones were screened out as the chemical markers to discriminate PL and PT.
- The contents of puerarin and total isoflavones were determined by q1H NMR.
