Quantification of taurine in energy drinks using 1H NMR

- The suitability of different pH values for quantitative 1H NMR of taurine in energy drink is described.
- Validation of 1H NMR quantification method is accomplished by stability tests and spiked recoveries.
- Quantification results of 1H NMR using external calibration and PULCON are compared to results of LC-UV/vis analysis.
