Mass spectrometric studies on the in vivo metabolism and excretion of SIRT1 activating drugs in rat urine, dried blood spots, and plasma samples for doping control purposes

- 3 new SIRT1 activating substances were subjected to rat in vivo metabolism studies.
- Obtained metabolites were characterized by high resolution/high accuracy mass spectrometry and compared to human in vitro data.
- Urine and dried blood spots were collected and methods established and validated to allow for efficient doping controls.
