Identification of combined conjugation of nabumetone phase I metabolites with glucuronic acid and glycine in minipig biotransformation using coupling high-performance liquid chromatography with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry

- New phase II metabolites were found during biotransformation of nabumetone in minipigs.
- The metabolites were identified by coupling HPLC/ESI-MS/MS.
- Phase I metabolites are subsequently conjugated with glucuronide acid and glycine.
- Metabolites were found in small intestine content, they were absent in minipig urine.
