HPLC method for determination of lipoxygenase positional specific products

- We developed an HPLC method for determination arachidonic acid metabolites (HETEs).
- The method is applicable for initial survey of lipoxygenases from animal sources.
- HETEs are separated on reversed-phase column and identified on straight-phase.
- This enables the separation of 12-HETE and 15-HETE to the baseline.
- The method was verified on rat lung cytosolic lipoxygenase.
