Métrologie dans un laboratoire de biologie médicale : enjeux et difficultés

Among the requirements of the standard ISO 15189 is the need to ensure traceability to the standards of the connections of the critical quantities affecting the quality of the results of analysis of medical biology analysis. The accreditation process has shot to the foreground new disciplines such as metrology. The objective of this article, and a few examples that illustrate the subject, is to recall the main principles, and takes up the challenge of its appropriation in the field of biology. In particular, the criticality of the quantities and the corresponding measures are sometimes poorly defined what generates little adapted arrangements, even excessive, so expensive. However, the capitalization of experience and metrological history may also lead to more reasonable provisions while remaining professional.
