A novel sensor based on nanobiocomposite Au-­In2O3-­chitosan modified acetylene black paste electrode for sensitive detection of antimycotic ciclopirox olamine

Novel nanobiocomposite which consists of Au decorated In2O3 nanoparticles and chitosan was successfully prepared and used for modification of acetylene black paste electrode. The chitosan porous provided a large surface area for the entrapped nanocomposite of Au-In2O3 and facilitated the analyte's access to the sensing material. The analytical performance of this biosensor was evaluated for detection of CPX in pharmaceutical formulations with good accuracy and precision.408
