A novel coating based on carbon nanotubes/poly-ortho-phenylenediamine composite for headspace solid-phase microextraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons

► A novel nanocomposite made of PoPD and MWCNTs is electrochemically prepared. ► This nanocomposite is prepared for the first time on stainless steel wire. ► The morphological structure and FT-IR spectra of the nanocomposite are presented. ► The extraction capability of the nanocomposite is examined towards PAHs.
