Sensitive detection of CD147/EMMPRIN and its expression on cancer cells with electrochemical technique

► A method is proposed to assay CD147/EMMPRIN and its expression on cancer cells. ► The biosensor can sensitively detect CD147/EMMPRIN with a very low detection limit. ► The biosensor can also quantify the cancer cells with CD147/EMMPRIN expressed. ► The expression of CD147/EMMPRIN on single cancer cell surface can be determined.
