Component analysis of fluorescence spectra of thiol DAB dendrimer/ZnSe-PEA nanoparticles

► Fluorescence of thiol DAB dendrimer (G5) coated with ZnSe-PEA quantum dots. ► Analysis using a combination of asymmetric (log-normal) and symmetric (Gaussian) models. ► Emission maxima of the components are not affected by the thiol DAB dendrimer in the complex. ► Stability at pH 7 confers binding of selective C-reactive protein.
