Complexation of Hg(II) by humic acid studied by square wave stripping voltammetry at screen-printed gold electrodes

► A new approach to study dynamic speciation of Hg(II) in humic acid by stripping voltammetry was developed. ► Sequential injection analysis commanded medium exchange between deposition and stripping steps. ► Complexation parameters were directly obtained during the measurements without the need of separation steps. ► Different analytical windows can be studied by changing parameters related to deposition time through the computer keyboard.
