Synthesis of highly dispersed mesostructured cellular foam silica sphere and its application in high-performance liquid chromatography

► K2SO4 was used to prepare microsized spheres for the first time in our research. ► The spheres prepared by our modified method were highly dispersed. ► C18 modified MCF silicas were packed into HPLC columns and have good performance.
