Calibration of potentiometric sensor arrays with a reduced number of standards

► A calibration method for the parameters' determination of an ISE array is developed. ► Parameters of Nicolsky-Eisenman model and limits of detections are determined. ► The number of standards is less than those used for common calibration methods. ► An experiment showing the entire calibration process is presented. ► Errors of the elaborated method and of the common used method are comparable.
